About ~e

I am a certified yoga instructor who has completed over 500 hours of training.

My first training in 2011 was a week-long 100hr intensive focusing on power yoga. Shortly after, I received my 200hr yoga teacher training in vinyasa flow. I completed an additional 300hr advanced yoga teacher training which included introductions to the modalities of functional movement, gentle and restorative yoga, as well as trauma-informed practices in 2020. This training also provided the opportunity for me to deepen my understanding of meditation and mindfulness. I received Reiki level 1 certification in 2024 and I plan to continue with more Reiki practice and training in the future.

It has been a pleasure to guide students in yoga for over 13 years, and I have been a student of the practice for over 25. I was first introduced to hatha yoga but found my way to heated vinyasa after the birth of my children. The combination of physical movement connected to breath and the heat of the class made me feel invigorated and alive! I knew then I had found a lifelong practice. My classes combine strength and movement with reminders to focus on breath and staying present. I love to welcome all levels of students to my yoga classes.

In the warm summer months, you can find me in nearby lakes and ponds teaching SUP (stand up paddle board) yoga classes. This alternative expression of the practice combined with the peace of the outdoors and the calming effect of being on water has been a wonderful and exciting journey for me and my adventurous SUP students.

I am also passionate about hosting retreats and I have been doing so since 2011. I find that yoga retreats are a perfect combination of sharing my passion for yoga asana as well as my love of travel and exploring new places!
